What is Bb Outcomes?
The University of Kentucky uses Bb Outcomes as a management tool for the planning and reporting of student learning assessment and strategic planning across campus. Assessment of student learning occurs in undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certificate programs, as well as Student Affairs and Undergraduate Education units. Strategic Planning must be completed by every college and unit on campus.
Bb Outcomes is a centralized assessment tool that allows faculty and staff to capture Indirect and Direct measurement of student learning, as well as disseminate reports for analysis. Bb Outcomes provides the ability to capture data through surveys and course evaluation tools. The system also allows for rubric evaluation of collected evidence. All evidence is stored in one location which will easily create an institutional history that can be accessed by those staff, faculty, and administrators that have access to various locations. Centralized storage also makes reporting to accrediting bodies much easier.
